Some fun messing around with some studio monitors today adding a subwoofer into the system for the engineer to be able to effectively check low end in mixes where the built in low pass filter on the mains doesn't allow reproduction at those frequencies for obvious reasons.
I experimented with aligning to the listeners ear position which produced a satisfactory result with expected summation and low end extension. this probably wont be used much for mixing on, but more for checking mixes for problems. its still fun to experiment with alignment and seeing the effects of room reflections on a measurement.

We were brought in to tune this new @harmonicdesigngermany church system for a commercial client. Amazing coverage again for a 2 box system with 2 low frequency extension modules and a set of delay speakers. This system had a comprehensive mic input list that requires careful setup and in depth programming to achieve a "hands off" use approach. All the client has to do is turn on the rack.
This brings perfect coverage and even volume to every seat.

Time alignment and corrective EQ was achieved with @rationalacoustics Smaart with the new system tuning rig running well.

Tidy install done by Foley Sound Eng.

One of three @cloudelectronicsltd control systems installed today in a hotel. The old equipment was mis matched and had bit the dust so the decision was made to streamline the three areas consisting of a Gym, a Bar and a multi zoned area for the main hotel side of things and to migrate them all to cloud control so as to make it more user friendly and current across the facility.

This older style of control is still very relevant for installs like this where high end digital control would be unnecessary.

I was sub contracted on this job to assemble and program a new amp rack/control system in a large church for Elite Services Cork.
This involved migrating old input and output lines for an array of microphones, feeds to broadcast, a live stream, induction loops and a main/delay PA feed.

The rack was dressed up and consolidated into only what was needed there to get rid of old clutter.
Cables ferruled and sleeved and replaced where possible.
This is a hands-off, turnkey system designed to automix the podium mics and wireless feeds without any interaction from staff other than turning the rack on.
This design was achieved with @bss_audio Audio Architect allowing automixing and matrix processing.

System EQ and phase/time alignment was achieved with @rationalacoustics Smaart software with a total of 56 acoustic measurements taken throughout the challenging space within the church hall.

The job was efficiently completed in 2 days with the church only needing to reschedule one morning mass service.
